This assistant stores a limited conversation history and its Shopify cart link for seven days. Expired records are removed when the service next handles a session request. Starting a new conversation clears the chat while preserving your bag.

When the AI connection is enabled, recent messages and relevant product or FAQ text are sent to OpenAI to help interpret your request. Requests disable OpenAI response storage. Provider security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply. Please do not send payment details, passwords, or sensitive personal information.

Shopify manages product information, carts, checkout, and orders under the store’s policies. Deleting assistant data does not delete Shopify carts, purchases, or account records. Technical event records contain action names, durations, and error codes, and expire after seven days.
